Slade Wilson was a soldier in the US Army who subjected himself to medical experiments in hopes of increasing his ability to resist truth serums. Though this experiment did not go as planned, it instead granted him most of the powers of the Super Soldier Serum.
By the present day, Slade became the mercenary Deathstroke, one of the archenemies of the Titans. He has taken a disliking to Deadpool, who claims to be a copy of him with added insanity.
