Martians are a shapeshifting species, native to the planet Mars. They are split into several subspecies, most prominently Green Martians and the highly violent White Martians. Most were killed when a traitor created a wildfire that spread across nearly the entire planet. Some of the only survivors were J'onn J'onnz and M'gann M'orzz.
